Welcome to Informing Democracy’s Post-Vote Tracker, where we’re keeping track of what happens after votes are cast in key states.

We hope the Tracker can be a source of ground truth through the post-vote period: noting where things are progressing as expected, or where there is deviation from the expected norm or timeline. You can also see a more granular look at each state by viewing a state’s Post-Vote Tracker page.

We're watching processes closely but our visibility into status changes will likely be somewhat delayed depending on our access to local information. We'll do our best to ensure the information is as current as possible.

As with all of our research, our mission is to support pro-democracy partners to better monitor our elections, target corrective action, and, in turn, protect the integrity of our elections. Please reach out for any questions to info[@]informingdemocracy.org.

Update Cadence: We plan to update this tracker at least twice daily; once midmorning to reflect activity from the night before, and after close of business in each state to capture the day’s activity. Plus, we’ll make timely and urgent updates as needed.

Critical Updates

Check here for the most critical updates to the counting and certification processes happening across key states.

The Tracker

To dive deeper into a specific state, hover on the state name in the first column and click on the “open” dialogue box. You’ll see a pop-out with all the state activity. To expand that page view, click on the diagonal arrows in the upper left-hand corner.
